About your instructor
Daniel Katz (BA Dip Ed, UNSW) is a qualified teacher and has been an eBay member since June, 2001. From initially buying on eBay items for personal use, he progressed to selling on eBay excess stock from another business.
It didn`t take him long to realise the potential of buying on eBay to sell both on eBay and off eBay and he will share these experiences with you in one of his easy going courses.
He will provide real examples of some products he currently buys and has bought in the past for resale on eBay and will explain how he is able to sell items without actually purchasing the stock before it has been sold on eBay.
Dani prefers to teach either one on one or in small groups of no more than 3-4 as experience has shown this is the best way to provide individual attention to students and allows sufficient time for questions.

Anywhere on the Gold Coast/Hinterland/Surfers Paradise area.
For an additional $20.00-$40.00 to cover travelling costs, Dani will run this course anywhere between the following points: as far south as Byron Bay/Murwillumbah including Tweed Heads, north to Bribie Island and up to Brisbane and all points in between.
To get the most out of this course, it needs to be taught in a "hands on" situation and this is why Dani prefers to teach in the home/office of the student so they can use their computer and practice with Dani, elements of the course as they are being taught.
By doing this, it allows Dani to gauge how quickly the student is absorbing the information being taught and allows Dani to repeat and go over material which may be taking a bit longer to understand.
This method also allows Dani to personally show the student how he does certain things when researching and preparing a listing which he can then get the student to do. Dani's experience has been a student grasps new concepts much more quickly when they can see it in front themselves as opposed to seeing it described via a presentation in a large hall.

Number of Participants Per Course:
Ideally, Dani prefers to teach one on one but is happy to teach up to a maximum of four people in one group. This allows for a husband and wife to participate together or a group of friends to learn together.
Courses Offered and Length
The length of the course will depend on the number of participants per course and varies from between 3, 4 and 5 hours.
Private Tuition - one on one - 3 hours including 15 minute break.
(Suited for those already registered with eBay and with buying experience)
Private Tuition - one on one - 4 hours including 2 x 15 minute break.
(Suited for those with no eBay experience at all)
Couples - max. of 2 people - 4 hours including 2 x 15 minute breaks - ideal for husband and wife or two friends/work colleagues.
Small group - 3-4 people - 5 hours including 2 x 15 minute breaks - great for a group of friends.

Private Tuition: $199.00 (incl. GST) including one eBay student training guide - 3 hours.
Private Tuition: $245.00 (incl. GST) including one eBay student training guide - 4 hours.
Couples/Two participants: $125.00 p.p. (incl. GST) and includes one eBay student training guide per student - 4 hours
Small group - 3 students: $99.00 p.p. (incl. GST) and includes one eBay student training guide per student - 4 hours.
Small group - 4 students: $88.00 p.p. (incl. GST) and includes one eBay student training guide per student - 5 hours.
The eBay student training guide "The Basics of Selling on eBay - Learn to Buy and Sell Like a Pro" is an excellent reference book which you will find invaluable after you have completed the course and is included in the course costs listed above.
Payment for the course must be made at least 7 days before the course date by either bank deposit/internet transfer, company cheque or money order. We do not accept personal cheques.
We provide a tax invoice as this course may be tax deductible depending on your circumstances.
Our Little Extra
Dani has recently finished writing a publication, "Tools for Selling on eBay", designed to assist new eBay members which will be given to all students (sent by email) who attend his course. This includes hints and suggestions based on his experiences and the learning curve he has experienced (and continues to experience) since he started selling on eBay.

**More Extras/After Course Support
For 60 days after completion of the course, Dani is happy to provide free email support to students should they have any questions.
In addition, should a student require it, Dani is happy to provide a follow-up 2 hour refresher/"ask questions" seminar at a reduced rate of $99.00 (incl. GST) at a mutually convenient time. This is only being offered to former course participants and does not apply to "guests".

After the Course

Student Requirements
To save time, we require course participants to be signed up members of eBay prior to the course date.
It goes without saying that you must have a computer with an internet connection as this will be used throughout the course. A pad and pen to make notes is also suggested.

We are happy to provide you with a 90 minute information seminar during which Dani will explain and provide information on the full "Basics of Selling On eBay" course.
So why not get some friends together and Dani will come to you at a time that suits when he will introduce you to what is involved in buying and selling on eBay and show you and your friends how to become a member.
Cost for this is just $155.00 (incl. GST) for a group of 2, 3 or 4 people - maximum number of participants is four.
Should you prefer to have this information seminar run just for you, the cost is $99.00.
This seminar does not include the official eBay student training manual. The manual is only available to those who participate in one of the full courses (see above).
